Daniel Chavez Moran is the founder of Grupo Vidanta. Having had significant experience in the field of real estate development (in Mexico) he was named by CNN as one of Mexico’s top 100 most important businessmen in 2014. He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Guadalajara. Vis-a-vis charitable endeavors, Moran also set up the Delia Moran Vidanta Foundation in 2005 whose goal is to help kids grow up in a healthy environment and the Vidanta Foundation the name Vidanta is publicized and recognized. Moran is also a member of the Citizen Security Advisory Council of the United Nations Development Program. Through his non-profit organizations he has been able to further publicize the Grupo Vidanta brand.
